It is difficult to talk about stuff when most people may not be as interested in the topic as you are.  Chances are, unless you are lucky enough to be in your perfect little world and surrounded by likeminded people, you’re screwed.

Hence the blog.  This is mainly about film – my religion.
My Bible? Empire Magazine
My place of worship?  The cinema.
My God?…..I’ll have to get back to you on that.
My dream?  To start a revolution…those who know me know what I am talking about.  Don’t worry – you won’t know it until it hits.

You can also find me on Sound on Sight (not Sight & Sound: the BFI Magazine), Screenjabber and Flick Feast.

Edited: 12th November 2012.

I may have only spent a good year blogging and writing on an online published basis, but as much as I enjoy it, I have always felt that there is something missing.  Glancing at certain film websites, as well as so-called ‘geek-girl’ websites, they tend to target two different sides of a non-connecting Venn diagram.

What I am looking for is something for much sought-after intersection.
Something that will appeal to geek girls that will branch past the Engineering and IT profile that has somehow become synonymous with this popular term.

People seem to forget that “geek” is no longer a bad thing to be.  Hell, the popularity of advancing technologies and word-of-mouth on film projects depends and feeds on the collective ‘geeks’ in society.

However, what gets me is that girls cannot be this kind of geek.  Why? Fuck knows.

So, I’ve decided to do something about it.

Will keep you posted.
